The M88DD3001 is a single-chip CTTB/DVB-C dual-standard demodulator with an integrated 64Mbit SDRAM. The device is fully compliant with China GB20600-2006 and Europe DVB-C standards, and supports terrestrial multi-carrier and single-carrier modes, single frequency network (SFN) as well as 6/7/8MHz bandwidths.
The device takes high or low IF from CTTB/DVB-C tuner or zero IF from CTTB tuner. It demodulates & FEC decodes the signal, and then outputs an MPEG TS stream in serial, parallel or DVB-CI format. The implementation of the device is fully done in a set of dedicated circuits with complete performance monitoring, thus excellent reception is ensured even under extreme conditions.
The device is available in a 64-pin LQFP package. It has very low power consumption and high integration, which makes it not only suitable for the dual-mode iDTV and STB, but also for the mobile and portable DTV systems.
