The M88DT2001 is an advanced single-chip Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing (COFDM) demodulator. It is fully compliant with DVB-T (ETSI EN 300744)
specifications and supports 2K and 8K operation modes. The device can be used in the 6
MHz, 7 MHz and 8 MHz systems.
The device provides a flexible tuner interface which can receive a variety of tuner inputs from
common High IF or Low IF to direct downconversion Zero IF. It takes signals from a tuner,
demodulates and FEC decodes the signal, then outputs MPEG transport stream in either of
serial, parallel and DVB-CI formats. The device provides easy connectivity, flexible
programmability, and complete status and performance monitoring.
The M88DT2001 has very low power consumption and is suitable for mobile, portable and
fixed terrestrial digital television systems.
