M88RS2000 – DVB-S Receiver
The M88RS2000 is a highly integrated single-chip receiver used for reception of DVB-S
digital satellite TV signals. The device combines the functions of a tuner, a demodulator and
an LNB controller on a single chip, thus providing a fast, easy and cost-effective solution for
digital satellite front-ends.
The M88RS2000 receives an RF input, down-converts it to baseband signal, digitally
demodulates it, corrects errors generated during data transmission, and finally outputs
MPEG transport stream.
The M88RS2000 is flexible and able to support input frequency of 950 MHz to 2150 MHz and
symbol rate of 1 Msps to 45 Msps. The device is fully configurable via a serial 2-wire bus. The
device works properly with a voltage ranging from 2.5 V to 3.3 V.
