M88TS2100 – MMDS Tuner
The M88TS2100 is a single-chip, high-performance zero-IF tuner for MMDS (Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service) applications. It provides a low-noise and wide dynamic range front-end solution and is compatible with most DVB-S demodulators.
The M88TS2100 receives QPSK signals in the range of 300 MHz to 1000 MHz and directly down converts them to baseband for demodulation. The high-integrated M88TS2100 has the
lease number of pins compared with other conventional solutions, and requires the least
external components. The device also has the industry’s smallest latency, as it uses a fast
locking PLL and a fast settling DC offset cancellation architecture.
The M88TS2100 is configured via a 2-wire serial interface. The device operates from a single
3.3 V supply and consumes only 330 mW.
