M88VS2200 – MPEG-2 Decoder
The M88VS2200 is a single-chip MPEG-2 decoder. It receives MPEG-2 data stream from an external demodulator, perfroms real-time PID filtering, DVB-CSA descrambling, A/V decoding and TV encoding, and finally outputs CVBS, S-video, YPbPr or RGB video signals and L/R analog audio. The device also supports SPDIF digital output, automatic PAL/NTSC conversion, VBI data insertion and DVB compliant subtitle display. It provides comprehensive peripheral interfaces and enough number of programmable GPIOs. The device is an ideal back-end solution for digital television applications.
