Dr. Howard C. Yang – Chairman & CEO

Dr. Howard C. Yang has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Montage Technology since its inception. Prior to co-founding Montage Technology, he was Vice President at Integrated Device Technology Inc. In 1997, he co-founded Newave Semiconductor Corp., the first VC-funded IC design company in China. In 2001, Newave successfully merged into Integrated Device Technology Inc., which was ranked China's top ten mergers of the year. Prior to Newave, Dr. Yang held various positions at Shanghai Belling in Shanghai as well as National Semiconductor Corp., Chips and Technology Inc. and Pericom Semiconductor Corp. in Silicon Valley. Dr. Yang holds both MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University. He is an IEEE Fellow and selected into National "Thousand Talent Program" in China. He received several awards including IEEE CAS Industrial Pioneer Award and Magnolia Gold Award from Shanghai municipal government for his pioneering contributions in China's IC design industry.

Stephen Tai – President

Mr. Stephen Tai has been the President of Montage Technology since its inception. Mr. Tai has over 15 years experience in IC architecture, design and engineering management. Prior to co-founding Montage Technology, he was the Director of Engineering R&D and a founding core team member at Marvell Technology Group. Prior to Marvell, he was a founding core team member at Sigmax Technology. Mr. Tai holds MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Leechung Yiu – CTO & Senior Vice President of Engineering

Dr. Leechung Yiu joined Montage Technology in October 2008 as its Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President. Dr. Yiu is a seasoned veteran in IC design industry with over 25 years of product development experience in a broad range of areas including storage, communication and multimedia applications. Before joining Montage, Dr. Yiu held CTO and/or Vice President positions at Trident Microsystems, Shanghai Huahong International, Sunext Technology and Marvell Semiconductors. He also co-founded China's first VC-funded IC design company -- Newave Technology (Shanghai). Dr. Yiu received his Ph.D. and MSEE degrees in electrical engineering from University of California at Berkeley, and BSEE degree from Taiwan University.

Bill Franciscovich – Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Mr. Bill Franciscovich joined Montage Technology in January 2007 as its Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Franciscovich has over 30 years of experience in semiconductor sales, marketing and manufacturing. Prior to joining Montage Technology, he was VP of WW Sales at Power-One Inc. and Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT). During his eighteen-year tenure at IDT, he held various executive sales, product-line management and marketing positions. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales at IDT, Bill managed a direct team of over 200 sales people and field application engineers in the US, Asia and Europe. Prior to IDT, Franciscovich held sales positions with Zeus Electronics (now a division of Arrow Electronics) and Motorola Semiconductor. He holds a BS degree in Materials Science Engineering from Cornell University.

Dr. Jack Gu – Vice President of Sales (China)

Dr. Jack Gu joined Montage Technology in January 2006 as its Vice President of Sales. Dr. Gu has over 25 years experience in sales, manufacturing and engineering management in the electronics industry. Prior to Montage Technology, he was a Board Director and Vice President at CEC-View Company Limited in Beijing. Prior to CEC-View, he was the Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Shanghai Belling. Dr. Gu holds both MS and Doctoral degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Dr. Cheng-Tie Chen – Vice President of Engineering (SoC Products)

Dr. Cheng-Tie Chen has about 30 years of industrial R&D experience in digital STB related IC development. Before joining Montage, he was VP of Engineering at Trident Microsystems, responsible for digital STB IC development. Prior to Trident, Dr. Chen was VP of Engineering at Magnum Semiconductor and Cirrus Logic between 2001 and 2006. In 1996, he joined Stream Machine (which was acquired by Cirrus Logic in 2001) as Technology Founder and VP of Engineering. Dr. Chen also held various research and engineering positions at Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories and Bellcore between 1984 and 1996. Dr. Chen received his MSEE and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University of Pennsylvania, and BSEE from National Taiwan University.

Shawn Si – Vice President of Engineering (STB Frontend Products)

Mr. Si has over 18 years of experience in developing high-performance analog/RF/mixed-signal IC products. His previous working experiences includes: one of the earliest team members at Bigbear Networks, Inc. (now part of Fairchild Semiconductor), developing the world's then-fastest Si-based ICs, and a founding team member of Datapath Systems Inc. (acquired by LSI Logic for $420 million.), specializing in storage and communications IC technologies. He has published over a dozen technical articles in IC design and semiconductor devices. He also holds 7 US patents in analog circuit design. Mr. Si received his MS degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Hawaii and BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China.

Kenneth Chew – Vice President of Operations

Mr. Kenneth Chew joined Montage Technology in March 2005 as its Vice President of Operations. Mr. Chew has over 20 years of experience in IC manufacturing and engineering project management. Prior to Montage Technology, he was the Director of Operations and founding core team member at Marvell Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore. Prior to Marvell, he held various engineering manufacturing and project management positions at Adaptec Singapore, and he was also a section leader in product engineering and test development engineering at Silicon Systems Singapore. Mr. Chew holds MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and BS degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from University of Iowa.
