Job Responsibility
We are seeking a strategic and technical Senior Product Marketing Manager for our PCIe Switch portfolio. This role is pivotal in defining the next generation of high-speed interconnects that power AI clusters and hyperscale data centers. You will own the product lifecycle, from initial concept to mass production, ensuring our silicon remains the backbone of modern compute architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Define the roadmap for PCIe Gen 5/6/7+ switch products, balancing performance, power, and low-latency requirements.
- CSP Engagement: Act as the primary technical interface for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). You must translate their complex architectural needs—such as rack-scale integration and multi-host connectivity—into actionable product requirements.
- Ecosystem Leadership: Work closely with firmware and software engineering to define FW deployment models, ensuring seamless integration with customer BIOS/BMC environments and robust error handling (RAS) features.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with silicon design, marketing, and sales to drive design-ins and manage competitive positioning.
Job Qualification
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of the PCIe specification (Layers, LTSSM, Virtualization) and data center infrastructure.
- FW Fluency: Proven experience managing products where Firmware/Software is a core value-add. You should understand secure boot, telemetry, and field-upgradable FW architectures.
- Experience: 7+ years in Product Management or Technical Marketing within the semiconductor or server industry.
- Customer Impact: Demonstrated success in managing long-term relationships and high-stakes negotiations with Tier-1 Hyperscalers.
- Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
The Ideal Candidate: You are a "silicon-plus" thinker who realizes that while hardware provides the speeds, the firmware and the user experience define the market leader.
